What did you cook tonight?

Went over the border yesterday shopping .on the way back stopped of at Lambro.s fish & chip shop ..(best in Cyprus ) we had plaice & chips.they do the plaice in the crispiest batter.2 large peices so 1 portion enough for both of us.with mushy peas.tartare sauce.& pickled onions..
 
Kofte, piyas and salad this evening- hot as the hob of hell here. Our second last night until September. Delighted to have gotten some green figs the other day- not quite as good as the purple but very good of themselves. I miss Kibris and his take on the market- I wonder what he’d make of the prices for spuds an onions at the moment!
