Vietnam Street Food

We have just returned from an amazing trip through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Bali.
The street food was amazing, the locals incredibly friendly and the sights & sounds are something that we will remember forever.
On our trip we flew into Ho Chi Minh City ( AKA Sai Gon ) visiting the Chu Chi Tunnels and other remnants of the Vietnam war. Crossing the roads took a great leap of faith for us first timers but we were soon helping other visitors to launch themselves into the bedlam of rickshaws, Tuk tuks, cars, lorries & buses.
We flew down to Phu Quoc, an island in the South China Sea, for a little beach break before flying up to Hanoi.
Whilst in Hanoi we took a two day one night cruise around Ha Long Bay ( photos in next post ) had more ( and different ) Hanoi street food and wandered the fantastic night markets.
From there we flew to Bangkok and caught a Thai train down the coast to Hua Hin where we shared the sandy beach with monkeys loping around the rock pools looking for something to play with.
We travelled on to Bali to meet our son and grand children who came came up from Australia to join us and from there we then travelled up to Cambodia to continue our tour.
Amazing memories.
